Our guests can’t get enough of our chocolate chip cookies. Enjoy our chef’s secret recipe!

1/2 lb butter (cold)
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
1 t vanilla
1 egg
1 yolk
2 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 t baking soda
Pinch of salt
1 2/3 cup chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cream butter, brown sugar, white sugar, vanilla and once the butter is broken up into nickel sized pieces add egg, mix until egg is fully incorporated then add yolk mix until yolk is fully incorporated. Butter should still be chunky at this stage. Add flour, baking soda, and salt and mix until dough just comes together. Portion dough with rough side up and immediately freeze dough until dough is hard to the touch (30 minutes).

Cook for 10 minutes or until dough is golden brown on the edges.
